Questions

Consignment tracking questions

Everything you need to find your shipment using the carrier reference printed on your documents.

How do I track an MSC consignment?

Choose MSC on the tracker, then search with the Bill of Lading number issued for your shipment. The Bill of Lading is the transport document reference that appears on your shipping documents.

How do I track a Maersk consignment?

Choose Maersk, then search with either the Bill of Lading number or the carrier booking reference you received when the shipment was booked. Both return the same transport, equipment and document events.

Can I track a shipment using the container number?

Yes. Select the container reference option and enter the equipment number in BIC ISO container format, for example MSCU1234567 or MAEU1234567. Container tracking returns the same timeline as a Bill of Lading search.

What reference type should I use?

Use exactly one identifier per search: the Bill of Lading, the carrier booking reference, or the container number. Searching all three at once is not supported, and mixing them returns no events.

Why does my search return no events?

Most empty results come from a mistyped reference or from searching the wrong carrier. Confirm the carrier on your documents, check the number for stray spaces, and try the container number if you have it. Our operations team can also check the booking directly.

How far back do tracking events go?

Events are returned in reverse chronological order, newest first, and cover the transport, equipment and document milestones the carrier has registered. Coverage depends on what the carrier has recorded and the customer scope approved for the integration.

Does tracking a consignment cost anything?

No. Consignment tracking through this page is free and does not require a portal account. If you need a document on a shipment you have sent to Tokscetera, sign in to the customer portal instead.
